Equipment

  • Pins
  • Hot glue gun
  • scissors

Ingredients

  • Foam wreath form – the size of your choice.
  • Red and white buffalo check Ribbon
  • Red ribbon
  • Rustic white burlap ribbon.
  • 2 Christmas tree sprig
  • 2 Cranberry sprigs
  • Twine.

Instructions

  • Get your foam wreath form (I created mine with pool noodle if you are interested in making it yourself) and start wrapping it with your buffalo check ribbon.
  • Then decide what’s going to be the top of your wreath, wrap about 3 inches of the foam wreath with the burlap ribbon.
  • If like me, you don’t want to use glue, secure your ribbon with a piece of twine or a pin.
  • Once done, it’s time to add the springs.
  • Then bend your tree springs to fit the curve on the wreath.
  • Do the same for both springs
  • Secure each spring with a strip of twine tied on the back.
  • Then insert the cranberry springs one on each side and style as you like.
  • Again secure with twine on the back.
  • Now, create a gorgeous Christmas bow. I showed how to make one in last year’s Christmas wreath video but it’s kind of a quick video.
  • If you would like me to create a detailed tutorial on how to make this bow, let me know and I’ll get to it!
  • I used hot glue to secure the bow knot on the back and then to glue the ties.
  • Once the bow was ready, I secured it to the spring branches but not to the wreath foam.
  • Always remember to cut your twine excess so it doesn’t show anywhere.
  • Important to fluff your pretty bow when you finish.
  • Finally, I added a last-minute touch: A wooden Christmas tree ornament.
  • I hung it directly on the wreath hanger and then placed the door.
