Ingredients
2packs of Oreos {142g/28 cookies}
4ozcream cheesesoftened
10each maraschino cherries {drained}
2½Cupswhite chocolate chips {or those that are especially for melting}
Color sprinkles {optional}
Instructions
I placed Cherries on an absorbent paper so they get dry.
In a food processor {or blender… I don’t have a food processor LOL} place Oreos until it makes crumbs and add in the cream cheese and pulse until well combined.
Using a tablespoon sized scoop {like I did} or your hands, place about a tsp of the Oreo mixture in, smushing it so it goes up the sides and makes a little cup.
Place a cherry in the center and place some more of the cookie mixture on top, press to enclose the cherry. Take the cookie ball out of the scoop and round it out with your hands.
Place on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper and place it in the freezer for one hour to set.
Melt white chocolate in double boiler {or microwave, I prefer double boiler}. Dip cookie balls into the mixture, tapping on the side of the bowl to get as much of the chocolate off as possible.
Place back on the lined cookie sheet. Immediately top with sprinkles if desired.
Place back in the freezer for 10 minutes for the chocolate to harden.
