  • Hot glue gun and glue sticks
  • If you decide to make the flowers yourself you will also need scissors, needles and thread, buttons, etc. You’ll find a link to a tutorial later in the post.

Ingredients

  • Plain hair clips – I love french barrettes but alligator clips can work too.
  • Scrapbooking fabric flowers silk flowers, or your favorite fake flowers – usually found in craft stores.

Instructions

  • First, clean well with a wet towel the hair clips in the top area where you are going to glue the flowers.
  • Apply hot glue generously all over the top of the hair clip.
  • Place the flowers in your favorite way and order.
  • You can even mix different colors and/or sizes. Alternating large flower with small flowers making the large one the center of the clip looks so cute too.
  • I used the same size and colors to match my cute fabric flower earrings.

Notes

Mix and match! Use large flowers mixed with smaller flowers, different sizes and even different textures. Your creativity is the limit.
