DIY Triangle Dangle Earrings with Beads and Chain
Make these easy DIY triangle dangle earrings with beads, jewelry chain, and a few basic findings. A simple handmade jewelry project you can finish in about 20 minutes.
Equipment
- Wire cutters
- Flat Nose Pliers
- Bent-nose pliers
- Round nose pliers
Ingredients
- 12 black beads about 6 mm
- 2 silver sparkling beads about 8 mm
- 2 eye pins
- Lightweight silver jewelry chain
- 4 jump rings about 5 mm
- 2 earring hooks
Instructions
- Slide 3 black beads, 1 silver bead, and 3 more black beads onto an eye pin.
- Use round nose pliers to create a loop at the open end of the eye pin. Trim away the excess wire.
- Cut a piece of chain about 21 links long, or long enough to create the triangle size you want.
- Open one loop on the beaded eye pin and attach one end of the chain. Close the loop securely.
- Attach the other end of the chain to the opposite loop to form the triangle.
- Find the center link of the chain and attach it to an earring hook with a jump ring.
- Repeat with the second earring, making sure the bead pattern and chain lengths match.

- Make both earrings at the same time to help keep them even.
- Your chain length may vary depending on the size of the links.
- Use lightweight chain and beads so the finished earrings are comfortable to wear.
- Open jump rings by twisting them sideways rather than pulling them apart.
