Equipment

  • Bend nose pliers
  • Flat Nose Pliers
  • scissors

Ingredients

  • 2 Leather cord strands – I used 3mm.
  • Lobster clasp
  • About 10 to 15 jump rings the size should be twice the width of the cord – I used 6mm.
  • 1 3mm jump ring for the clasp
  • 2 Cord crimp clasp ends the size should be twice the width of the cord – I used 6mm.
  • Fabric glue *optional.

Instructions

  • Line up the two leather cord strands and insert them through the first jump ring in opposite directions, one from front to back and the other from back to front.
  • Add a second jump ring, reversing the direction of each cord.
  • Continue adding jump rings and alternating the cords until the bracelet reaches the length you need.
  • Trim the excess leather cord, leaving a few millimeters at each end for the crimp ends.
  • Place both cords inside a crimp end. Add a small dab of fabric glue if desired, then secure it firmly with flat-nose pliers. Repeat on the other end.
  • Open a small jump ring with your pliers and attach the lobster clasp to one end of the bracelet. Close the jump ring securely.
  • Attach another jump ring to the opposite end of the bracelet for the lobster clasp to hook onto.
