Unleash your creativity with our easy and super simple button bracelets diy tutorial! Crafted with big pretty buttons and macrame cords, it’s a fun and stylish accessory to make in no time! Easy, simple, and loads of fun
Cut the cord into two equal length strings – around 8- Inches, depending on your wrist size and the button size. Cut more if you want to make more than one bracelet in different colors like I did.
Fold one piece of cord in half and insert the folded end through one of the holes from the back to the front side of the button.
Insert the opposite ends of the thread through the cord loop.
Pull tight and try to make sure that the cord ends stay relatively even.
Repeat the process with the other hole of the button.
To close the bracelet, measure your wrist first by placing the button on your wrist and meeting both ends of the cords.
Make a mark to know where they meet. Leave a few millimeters and cut.
You can make a knot at the very end with both strings. so the cord crip grips better.
Place the two ends of one side of the bracelet into the fold over cord crimp or cord end.
Carefully fold one side of the cord end down onto the macramé cord with the flat nose pliers. Then fold the other side down.
Finally, insert jump rings into the cord end and attach the clasp.
You are done!!! Yayyyyyy.
Repeat the process with as many bracelets as you want!
