This Honey Mustard Chicken recipe is the perfect easy and delicious meal for those days when time is not on our side. This recipe is just about marinate, put in the oven, set timer and go! Just wait for the alarm to go off. make some Rice and a tomato and lettuce salad and voila!
2chicken breasts chopped {calculating ½ breast per person but it’s up to you}
3tbspof mustard Dijon originale.
3tbspof mustard Old Style Dijon {the one with seeds}
4– 5 tbsp of honey
2tbspof soy sauce
2tbspof olive oil
2garlic cloves {smashed}
1/2tspof salt {or to taste}
Black pepper to taste
Instructions
Pre-heat the over to 350ºF 180ºC.
In a small bowl mix all the ingredients except for the chicken. Whisk well to integrate.
In a medium bowl, mix well the chicken with all the ingredients. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it marinate for about 30min t 2 hours. If you make it the night before would be even better.
Transfer the chicken to a Pyrex or any baking pan (preferably glass), cover it with foil, and put it in the oven for 35 minutes.
Remove the foil and bake for 5 more minutes if you want to golden it a bit, if not just leave it the 40 minutes.
You will see it creates a honey mustard sauce that you can use to keep the chicken moist and it goes so well with the rice.
