The Crafting Nook is a DIY and creative living blog built on trust, real-life experience, and hands-on creativity. Because of that, I’m very selective about the partnerships and collaborations I take on.

This page exists to clearly explain what I do, what I’m open to, and what I don’t accept, so expectations are clear from the start.

What I Do

I create original, hands-on DIY and craft content focused on practical, purposeful projects made for real homes and real people.

This includes:
– Handmade decor and craft projects
– Creative organization ideas
– Sewing, jewelry, and craft-based DIYs
– Tutorials created, tested, and photographed by me

Everything published on The Crafting Nook reflects my own process, experience, and creative judgment.

Types of Collaborations I Consider

I’m open to thoughtful collaborations that align naturally with my content and values, including:

  • Brand partnerships featuring products I genuinely use or would realistically use
  • Sponsored projects where I design, create, and photograph the project myself
  • Long-term brand relationships rather than one-off promotions
  • Guest posts from legitimate bloggers whose work and values align with The Crafting Nook
  • Press samples for consideration (no guarantee of coverage)

Guest posts are considered on a limited basis and only when they come from real, established bloggers. The ability to verify authorship, originality, and an active website or body of work is required.

What I Don’t Accept

To protect my audience and the integrity of this site, I do not accept:

  • Link insertions or paid links
  • Pre-written or templated sponsored content
  • Guest posts created solely for backlinks or SEO purposes
  • Sponsored posts, regardless of the sender, that don’t align with my content or values
  • Promotions that feel forced, misleading, or unrelated to what I share here

Requests that fall into these categories will not receive a response.

Content Standards and Expectations

All content published on The Crafting Nook must meet the same standards, whether it’s written by me or contributed by another creator.

This means:
– Original content written specifically for this site
– Clear authorship and verifiable experience
– A natural fit for my audience
– No promotional linking or SEO-driven intent

I do not publish content created primarily for search engines, backlinks, or quick promotion.
