Hi there everyone! This is Chandra From The Plaid & Paisley Kitchen! I love taking time out and to come visit you at TitiCrafty!
Let’s start this summer off with something great: Cherry Chocolate Chip Brownies in a Jar! A rich chocolatey, full of sweet cherries, amazing brownie. Oh and let’s make it cute and fun in a little mason jar. I bet that you are all agreeing with me right now.
Cherry Chocolate Chip Brownies in a Jar
I don’t know about you but I am really stoked for Summer this year. I can’t wait for the pool to open, to get back out on my super cute bicycle, oh and the Amusement Park is open now! I am ready for long summer days with plenty of sunshine and filled with fun.
These brownies are just the trick to fuel your family’s sweet tooth. Big enough to share or just fine to save one all for yourself. You deserve it after all….. The kids home from school for 3 months. Yep you deserve it!
These are a snap to make and I promise you that they are the richest, most moist, chocolatey-est, {Yes that is a word I just made up} brownies you have ever had!
I used my best and most favorite brownie recipe. Then I took it to the next level by adding some chocolate chips and maraschino cherries. Everyone loves chocolate chips and cherries!
I promise you that you will not be sorry that you made these. You won’t even mind the calories. Some treats are so good that they are totally worth the extra workout it takes!
I know that you are drooling now. I know I am just remembering how much I loved every ooey gooey fudgy bite of them. The best part of these brownies was the sweet cherry and the fun crunch of the chocolate chips!
So head on into the kitchen and start to whip up a batch of these right now. I used my homemade brownie recipe but if you want to make these even easier then just use a box mix brownie. Although I highly recommend that you make them from scratch. You will be so happy that you did!

Forgot to ask:
Do you set the jars on a baking sheet or in a cake pan with water while baking or do you just set the jars on the oven rack and bake?
Colleen I am so sorry that it took so long for me to get an answer to you. Yes the jars go on a baking sheet. I hope that you get a chance to bake them.
Oh, my a jar full of yumminess. A little dollop of cool whip or small scoop of ice cream, topped with a cherry…..pure goodness. Oh, don’t forget a light drizzle of chocolate syrup or hot fudge topping.
Fun making and eating desserts from a jar and these will be great for the 4th of July family gathering.
Things always seem to taste better when made from scratch.
Thanks 4 sharing the recipe
