I’m so excited because today I have a lovely bloggy friend sharing her awesome creation here in my blog =D, how cool is that???… She is Megin from VMG206. It’s super exciting to be sharing this with all of you, hope you like it as much as I do! I’ll Leave you with Megin:
Hi, I’m Megin of VMG206 where I love to share my Paper Crafting and DIY Projects. I love lots of photos and a good tutorial – since I’m a very visual person. I’m so happy to be here at Titi Crafty hanging out with my friend Camila! I hope to make a few new friends while I’m here, too. Today I’m sharing The Perfect Album ~ Do you have the perfect Photo or Scrapbook Album? If so, you are lucky!
The Perfect Album by Megin of VMF206
I know we all want a fabulous Album to hold our treasured photos – such as a beautiful Wedding Album or an adorable Baby Album. I know I have gone to the store to purchase an Album and been totally overwhelmed with the selection. But I left without purchasing an album – because I couldn’t find one that was just perfect. Please don’t let not having the perfect album stop you from scrapbooking. So many times I hear people say, “I want to scrapbook but I just can find the right album. I have so many pictures…“
Find. A. Scrapbook. Then Create the Perfect Album ~
Just start out with something simple. I tend choose an album with a basic linen fabric in a nice neutral. However, for a Wedding Album, I like to use a classic black leather. Whatever you choose, just make sure it is sturdy and will stand the test of time – literally. On your bookshelf or coffee table ~ out where everyone can enjoy it! Here’s a basic Linen Album in a neutral color ~
Now comes the fun part ~ making the album your own.
I love to dress up a basic album with a fancy ribbon band and tag embellishment. It should come as no surprise that I use my monogram ~ but you can use whatever personalizes it for you. Be creative and have fun!
Here are a few samples of my albums and the ribbon bands ~

Here’s a little pattern for the tag that I use ~ so simple!
I used a light piece of cardboard. It’s 5 inches by 2-3/4 inches. I just clip off a corner. Then I take that corner and place it on the other side, before cutting, and use it as a guide. Then punch a hole ~
Then cut some decorative paper, glue and embellish as desired. And here are some close ups of the embellishments ~
This is a fun, quick and inexpensive way to jazz up and personalize any Photo or Scrapbook Album! It also makes a wonderful gift idea ~ create a personalized, decorative band to add to an empty album to give as a Wedding or Baby Shower gift! I hope you have enjoyed this project. Card and beautiful Burlap Ruffle Wreath and tutorial.
I’d love for you to visit me over at VMG206 if you get the chance and check out some of my other projects. You never know what I’m going to do next! Thanks for having me, Cami!
Awesome Tutorial, Right????… She is always so delicate and creative, I loved having her. Don’t forget to stop by and leave her some love!
