Monogrammed Christmas Wreath
Hello everyone! I’m still amazed by the fact that is already December and Christmas around the corner. I was so behind with Christmas creations that I barely made it to create my very first Christmas wreath. Can you believe that? But I’m sharing today how to make it!
Monogrammed Christmas Wreath
This wreath is pretty much easy to make. I only bough the wreath base and the ribbons and used the rest that I already had at home.
What you need:
- Wreath base
- 2 inches Ribbon {I used 2 different shades of pink}
- 1/2 inch ribbon for the monogram
- A wooden letter
- Cord
- Christmas balls
- Door hanger
First I spread the wreath twigs so it would look more like a wreath LOL.
Then I started to play with the ribbons… uhmmm well no like this exactly LOL!
But more like this
I secured every loop with a strip of cord in the back of the wreath. I know some of you would do it with the twigs but I wasn’t sure.
I left some Ribbon to make the bow. Without cutting I followed this tutorial: DIY: How to tie bows by Save on Crafts. Very easy!!!
The using a strip of cord I put together some Christmas balls and attached it right next to the bow.
And finally in the blank space I paced my “E” monogram for my family name: Escobar. I decorated it with a cute ribbon and attached it to the wreath with the same cord.
To hang it I used the same monogram ribbon and hold the wreath with it.
On the end I made a bow and using the door hanger I place it on my door!
That’s it!.. It took me about an hour to make it, maybe a bit more since I was taking pictures and all!
While hanging the Christmas wreath I couldn’t help it playing with my reflection on the Christmas balls LOL. So much fun!
There you go… What do you think??? Aren’t wreaths so cute and cheerful? Do you like wreaths?? Leave me your experiences and anecdotes with wreaths in comments!
Til' next time...
