Hello everyone, can you believe that before this banana chocolate parfait I had never tried a parfait before? Well it’s true. I started seeing this delicious recipes all over the web and I had to make one and here it is.

Banana Chocolate Parfait Recipe

This banana chocolate parfait it’s perfect for any occasion. It takes about 30 minutes to make but it’s so worth it.

 Ingredients:

 Chocolate cream

  • Condensed milk
  • Nesquick Powder chocolate
  • Chocolate powder {unsweetened}
  • Unsalted butter
  • Sliced bananas
  • Unsalted butter
  • Graham cracker {if has nuts it’s better, like cashew. If not, honey will do the trick too}
  • Whip cream.

Directions

Chocolate cream:

In a medium pot, pour the condensed milk and the butter over low-medium heat. Mix it well. Add in the chocolates. Bring to a simmer over low heat while constantly mixing with (spoon or whisk) to avoid scorching until it’s thickened. It is suppose to be thick as a pudding or mouse. Then put it away until it cools.

Now, turn the graham crackers into crumbs with a food processor. When the crumbs are very small add the melted butter and mix for about 1 min to blend it well.

In glass containers {it can be mason jars, big glasses, or even cups} start the layering. One layer of graham crackers, one of chocolate cream, one of sliced bananas and one of whip cream. Start over until you fill the container.

Finish with a layer of whip cream and sprinkle some chocolate powder on top!
