I spend Summer almost every year with my family in Florida {USA} for many reasons, usually we get to see each other once a year with some luck twice. We are all spread over the World. Mom and dad live in Oman {United Arabic Emirates}, I’m currently living in Spain, my hubby’s family lives in Venezuela, some other family members live in here in USA, Canada and Colombia. So usually Miami is the point where we gather.

This year has been “Special”. Many things are going on in our lives, many changes and transitions.  Changes are always scary… I personally hate changes even though I’ve lived my entire life in a constant change, but in some way they have always been for a good reason and a positive purpose.  God always knows what’s best and why he does things that way. However it doesn’t mean we like the meantime, right?

I said that this year was special because, despite of my real life-transitioning situation, I had the chance to get together with family that I hadn’t seen in so many years. We had such a lovely time together, we did so many things, we had fun, I felt like time hadn’t pass at all. It was like we saw each other the week before.

We went shopping, went to the Everglades, to the beach, to the pool, chatting A LOT, catching up, laughing, we even played silly games that made us crack up. Gosh I really needed it and it was very happy time.

Also my hubby’s family made it here so we could spend some time together. Not as much as we would have liked but it was good being among family, because I have the luck to have the best family in law ever. I really feel like a part of the family and not just a new addition LOL. Sadly as I wrote this post, I noticed that all the pics withe them were taken with their cameras so I don’t have any =(. I’ll try to get some and upload them later!

Now our vacation here in Miami is getting to its end but now we are going to my mom’s home in Oman. That’s going to be a heck of an experience. I’ve never been to a Middle East country before. So, now we are getting our stuff ready to travel again. As you may have notice I haven’t stop crafting and I won’t. Wherever I go I take my Silhouette Cameo and some of my craft stuff with me. Plus I’ve bought a couple of bottles of mod podge LOL, many rolls of washi tape and DuckTape, some amazing new tools and other awesome supplies to keep creating Woot woot!!!

Even though sometimes blogging overwhelms me, Goshhh I love blogging and sharing my stuff with you. Every single comment you leave in here totally makes my day. So I’ll be here with you keeping you posted on my adventures in the Middle East and of course with lots of new inspiring creations.

So, now it’s your turn my lovely readers, How do you usually spend your summer? Do you have a world spread family members? Do you get together often?

I would love to hear and know a bit from you…

I LOVE your opinion and comments, it totally makes my day, it gives me a huge motivation to keep making fun stuff and crafts!!!

Till Next time!

Wow! So nice that your family could enjoy time together in Florida–lovely photos! My husband and I recently travelled to New Mexico and spent time with our son. We enjoyed both Albuquerque and New Mexico. (I’m visiting from Say it Saturday.) Safe travels as you go to the Middle East.
